How the Pilates Method Alliance is Navigating the Global Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic
March 20, 2020
As we navigate our current reality, please know that we care about our community. You are not simply customers to us. We know what an incredibly difficult time it is for you as Pilates teachers and studio owners.
What’s most important is your health and safety. It’s through this lens that we’re navigating the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
We’ve been speaking with community members, getting their perspectives, and sharing ours.
The rapid global spread of this disease has led public health officials, government entities, and all of you into unchartered territory.
As we absorb the new information that is shared daily, we will continue to make sometimes challenging decisions, adjusting our course as needed to the best of our ability.
Here are some of the decisions we’ve made as of March 20, 2020 to help us all navigate the global coronavirus pandemic.
We’re committed to continuing to provide you with the highest level of support and customer service no matter where we’re working.
As of now, nothing has changed with our support hours or the way our members, certificants and others engaged in our programs should contact our team.
We are currently assessing whether or not we will continue plans for the PMA 2020 Conference in November.
We want to consider the needs of all of you in the community in every one of our decisions. You are profoundly important to us and while some of these decisions may mean that we cannot connect in person, know that we want them to reflect your needs and those of the greater human community.
We want our conference participants to have peace of mind. So that they do, if the event needs to be cancelled, participants will receive a full refund of any monies already paid.
We promise to keep you updated on the decisions that affect you and our greater Pilates community.
